We are seeking a dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead the development and deployment of e-commerce solutions across a variety of platforms, including Magento, Shopify, and custom-built solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce business operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can oversee projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet all technical requirements, budgets, and timelines, while also delivering exceptional performance and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning and implementation of e-commerce projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate the work of internal and external teams, including developers, designers, and QA specialists. Ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Platform Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Magento, Shopify, and custom e-commerce solutions. Provide guidance on platform selection, customization, and optimization based on project requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external vendors. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and adjustments as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance process, including testing and debugging, to ensure that e-commerce sites are functional, user-friendly, and secure.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and expenses are kept within limits.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends and technologies. Recommend improvements to processes and technologies to enhance productivity and the customer experience.
Required Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with experience in e-commerce platforms, particularly Magento and Shopify. Knowledge of custom e-commerce solutions is a plus.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) is highly desirable.
- Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
